Dear Members and Friends,

On behalf of the Chinese Society of Austin, we appreciate your support and contributions. We had a great time with you in the Year of the Dragon Party at Thomas Buffet.Wish you all well, happiness, great health and spirit all year around.

Chinese Society of Austin ( CSA ) was founded in 1996 by George Chang, Paul Chen and Steve Yau. They hold a meeting at Walnut Creek Library in April 1996; CSA was formed with members joined in and Steve Yau was elected as first president. In January 1997, CSA officially registered with the Internal Revenue Service as non-profit organization promoting social welfare, social status and the image and reputation of Chinese descent in Central Texas area.

First President: Steve Yau ( 1996-1998 )

Second President: Millie Chu ( 1998-2000 )

Third President: Jim Young ( 2000 -2002 )

Fourth President: George Chang ( 2002 -2004 )

Fifth President: Michael Ma ( 2004-2006 )

Sixth President: Allan Leung ( 2006-2008 )

Seventh President: Judy Liang ( 2008 – 2010 )

Eighth President: Paul Chen ( 2010 – Present )

Till today, eight Presidents and their officers had devoted their knowledge and skills to serve you and the community with pride and excellence. We are always looking for better ways to promote our goals so you can enjoy the benefits of being a member of CSA. We would highly encourage anyone who is not a member yet to join our assocation.
